Aimed at people who work in clubs or associations of cannabis users.
On November 24 and 25, Training Course II for workers of cannabis user associations took place in Barcelona. Organized from the Training Area of the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, they are carried out in collaboration with Episteme Social, Energy Control, and ICEERS.
The first course had several editions during the year 2021 from which different subjects were extracted in which to deepen.
Both courses are carried out as part of the information and education campaign on risk prevention in cannabis consumption "RDR Cannabis" that has been working since 2020.
On this occasion, the trainers Mireia Ambrós, psychopedagogue, and social educator, and Óscar Parés, anthropologist, as well as Laboratory Technician Ramón Gonzalez (Allora Labs) were again present.
Both trainers held their respective classes during the morning hours of the first day: "The tension between correlation and causality", "Cannabis and gender perspective" and "Understanding terpenes in cannabis: odors, effects, and environment".
During the second day of the course, staff from different associations shared their experiences with partners in managing "good practices", providing information and education to their partners, as well as raising ideas and sharing successes and failures of the work they do. The interventions were given by "La Sagrada María", "Freya", "Three Monkeys" and "La Pota Verda".
Representatives of various other associations such as La Kalada, Hindu Kush, Tarragona420, Todo Hecho en Casa or Blue Diamond, among others, also attended these conferences.
Two very interesting days from which the participating individuals and associations drew motivation to want to continue with the campaign by creating a working group that continues with the tasks started in the courses.
