The association has served the residents of the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat area since 2015.
L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, in the province of Barcelona, has been for years the city with the highest population density in Europe, particularly in the northern neighborhoods, such as Collblanc, Torrassa or Florida, which far exceed 50,000 inhabitants per km2. (almost 80,000 h/km2 in Florida). Its location so close to the Catalan capital meant that cannabis users were at the forefront of information on current affairs around this plant as well as the development of private associations and that in the second decade of the 2000s a multitude of these clubs were opening in L'Hospitalet. "El Cigarro Verde" is an association that opened in 2015 in the Pubilla Casas area. serving the residents of this area and their friends.
From the beginning it has worked to provide the best information to all members, advising on how to improve consumption habits, operating based on good practices for this type of entity. Supporting the artistic concerns of the members and serving as a meeting point to share experiences. Periodically there is a program of activities that include musical sessions and performances, talks on medical cannabis or risk prevention in consumption, presentation of accessories and news from the cannabis sector or competitions of various games to stop exercising the mind. They are currently collaborating with the information campaign on risk prevention in the consumption of RDRCannabis.
Every year they celebrate their anniversary with a special event, but for this 8th year they decided to throw the house out the window by holding different events and activities for several weeks. Live musical performances, tasting of varieties and extractions, presentation of smoking accessories, food tasting, raffles and many gifts.
The members were able to enjoy the best smokes with the variety of accessories of the "Macotte" brand, such as trays, grinders and papers. In addition, the "PieceMaker" brand gave the association a varied package of some of its silicone pipes and bongs that were available to those who needed to use them.
Several days we have a live performance by the artist "Rima" who sang some of his songs. As we also had the opportunity to listen to the lyrics of the rap artist "Alejandra" in freestyle.
Different days we were also able to taste the delicious products of the "Stoned Bakery" team, pastry master craftsmen who delighted all the members with their cakes and sweet pastries. They had a small personalized set from where they also attended with a Dab Station giving extractions to anyone who liked to try.
During the celebrations, a large number of members attended and everyone had a great time, this being an opportunity to share some pleasant moments.
The association is already in its ninth year and we hope to enjoy the next anniversary celebration again next year with an event equal to or better than this one.
